Juneteenth Dinner & Service of Repentance

Jun 11, 2025

The Cedar Valley Interfaith Council is planning an ecumenical service of repentance to be held on Thursday, June 19. The service will focus particularly on our sins of omission: those things we have left undone/unsaid. This will be a time for those most culpable of perpetuating injustice and racist systems (namely White Christians) to commit to repentance.

The service will be preceded by a community meal of solidarity; namely, a time for us to prepare for worship, to reflect on the progress made, and (critically) the work ahead.
